Ginger Lemonade

INGREDIENTS

4 inches fresh ginger, peeled and very thinly sliced
1 lemon, sliced
6 tablespoons sugar
Crushed ice

DIRECTIONS

Put the ginger, lemon juice, sliced lemon, and sugar in a heatproof pitcher. Add 4 cups boiling water. Mix well and let steep for 2 hours. Chill, then serve poured over crushed ice
