Lillet Martini

Serves 2


4 ounces dry gin
2 ounces vodka
1 1/2 ounces Lillet
1 lemon, for peeling


Chill two glasses by filling with ice. In a icing glass filled with ice, add the gin, vodka, and Lillet and store. Stir some more, so much so that the outside of your mixing glass frosts up. Dump the ice from the glasses, and strain the gin mixture into them. Peel a 2 inch strip of lemon for each drink and squeeze over the glass, releasing the lemon oils. Run the peel over the edge of the glass and float the peel onto each cocktail. Drink fast, or add an ice cube later.
