3 dried dates, pitted
1 frozen banana
3 1/2 oz frozen acai berries
1/2 cup unsweetened plant milk
1/3 cup plain unsweetened plant yogurt
1 tbsp pea protein powder (optional)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tsp whole chia seeds
Toppings of your choice: ground cherries, chocolate chips, granola, shredded coconut, nuts, seeds, edible flowers, etc.
Combine all the ingredients except the toppings in a high-powered blender and blend on high speed until thick and smooth and a gorgeous plum color. Divide the smoothie between 2 small bowls. Add toppings of your choosing and serve right away.
