Tamara's Setting Sail In Greece, Take A Peek Inside Her Suitcase.
Soon I'll be traveling with The Sailing Collective, touring the islands of Greece, and spending my days and nights on a boat. This requires that I do some really focused packing. Aside from what you can shop below, I'll be bringing my favorite summer fragrance, Tabaco by Coqui Coqui, as well as India Hicks' Jet Pack backpack in Army (a genius, leather trimmed top handle/backpack hybrid in a coated canvas). Going from plane to boat demands that I be hands-free, so a backpack in a material that's water repellant is a must. Where am I storing the rest of my items? I’ll carry an easier bag to manage: a rolling duffel. My Apple Watch will be transferred onto a rubber strap, a custom design I created with Casetify based on wallpaper in my apartment. While I usually pack a lot of jewelry on trips, I’ll keep to what I’m wearing on the plane, packing just a couple of additional pairs of earrings. (I fear jumping into the water only to discover that I haven’t removed jewelry that then gets lost in the surf). Because my time will be spent mostly on a catamaran and island hopping, the bulk of my wardrobe will be made up of swimsuit-caftan combos. I’m partial to caftans by Two New York and Lemlem because of their high quality fabrics, and the fact that they can double as dresses to be worn at night. And be sure to click on the 12 items below to discover why each are my perfect boat trip pack-ables. –T.R.
