1. HOURGLASS TWO SIDED COMPLEXION BRUSH
This complexion brush is amazing! Its a total makeup bag essential. It works with foundation, blush, powders, and concealer. I use one side for liquid product and the other for powder product.
2. SEPHORA RETRACTABLE LIP BRUSH
For those times when you need to evenly apply highly pigmented color. There's nothing worse than having a ton of lipstick all over your fingers, especially while out and about.
3. NARS KABUKI BOTAN BRUSH
I love this chunky brush for bronzers, powders, and buffing the skin—both face and body.
4.YVES SAINT LAURENT TOUCHE ECLAT
Ok this arguably goes beyond brush. But Yves Saint Laurent's Touche Eclat pen is perhaps one of the handiest makeup products/tools ever because it dispenses a highly blend-able, smooth concealer.

1. E.L.F. POWDER BRUSH
I use this brush every day to apply tinted moisturizer. It might be intended for powder, but using it to buff out a liquid makes my skin look airbrushed and never streaky.
2. KIKO MILANO FREE SOUL DOUBLE EYE BRUSH
You can't go wrong with a two-in-one eyeshadow blending brush. I use the flat side to apply my base, and the rounded side to blend a slightly darker shade into my crease.
3. LES PINCEAUX DE CHANEL BLUSH BRUSH
I may or may not have taken this from my mother's makeup bag years ago (sorry, mom!). Over the years, I have continued to use it to apply blush (and sometimes even a stroke or two of bronzer) because it creates a flawless finish.
4. ANASTASIA BROW WIZ
This might not be a brush in the true sense of the word (there is an eyebrow pencil on one end), but I use the brush end to follow the steps from our Fabulous Brows tutorial and I can't live without it.

I'm a huge fan of the cat eye, for day or night, so I've probably tried ever eyeliner brush in existence. The best, by far, is Sephora's tapered liner brush. When it comes to precision, this brush is a smooth operator.
2. NARS #11 BRONZING POWDER BRUSH
When you want an allover glow, look no further. Perfect for those who want a sun-kissed but natural look.
3. NARS #40 EYESHADOWS BRUSH
I love, love, love this brush for applying highlighter on my lids and around my eyes.
