About Town | Foundrae Celebrates Tribeca Flagship Opening With Bingo

January Jones + Molly Ringwald Were Among The Guests Who Stopped By

At the opening of Foundrae's new store in Tribeca.

Foundrae celebrated their Tribeca flagship store opening with cocktails and an enchanting game of bingo inspired by the fine jewelry line’s spiritual and mystical tenets. Beth and Murat Bugdaycay, the founders, invited guests that included January Jones and Molly Ringwald, to celebrate the opening on 52 Lispenard Street.

The gorgeous library-esque space was neatly filled with signature pieces from the collection and bingo winners took home custom silk scarves and leather wallets embossed with symbols from the brand. Lifestyle expert, celebrity stylist and television personality Robert Verdi led a few rounds of bingo.

The husband-wife duo created Foundrae in 2015, with Beth previously holding the hefty title of CEO at womenswear brand Rebecca Taylor for over 20 years.

The word “found” comes from Beth’s love of found objects and “Rae” is Beth’s grandmother’s name. Beth’s grandmother was an American artisan who utilized antique materials in her works. The line’s cigar band rings are a signature, along with pieces charged by symbols of karma, strength, peace, passion, protection and more. Beth explains that "Foundrae is a collection of modern heirlooms, ones that allow the wearer to express something of herself to the world."

Wearers include a celebrity following of Kristen Stewart, Elizabeth Olsen, Hari Nef, January Jones, Karlie Kloss, Kate Hudson, Lorde, Margot Robbie, Naomi Watts, Suki Waterhouse and Zoe Saldana.

The Foundrae boutique offers an elevated and deeply personal shopping experience, much like the pieces themselves.
