Jeweler and creative innovator Anna Sheffield is known for pieces that bring together extraordinary materials in unexpected combinations. The designer's point of view and aesthetic is the very definition of modern fine jewelry. Everyday diamonds and ceremonial pieces including wedding bands that stack to create a halo effect combine to create the Anna Sheffield aesthetic of "modern day talismans". One can look to Anna to create custom heirlooms and pieces infused with deep meaning, ensured of her commitment to sustainability and ethically sourced materials---always. Sheffield's Future Heritage Project is a collection of one-of-a-kind pieces in turquoise and gold and reprised vintage jewelry, a portion of each sale funding scholarships and conservation efforts throughout New Mexico. Greatly influenced by her childhood in the Southwest and her interest in natural beauty, Sheffield's non-traditional fine jewelry is collectible, truly special, and a long-time Story + Rain favorite.
On October 10th, 2019, Sheffield unveiled a ten carat cushion cut diamond ring created for the ten year anniversary of her creations in precious metals and gemstones. A champion of the craft of fine jewelry and a master of fine jewelry technique, the designer presented a beautifully displayed retrospective of the pieces she's designed over the years, pairing them with birds, butterflies, flowers, and objet.
The event took place in a penthouse apartment with a dramatic wraparound terrace that showcased the glittering lights of Manhattan at night. The Shenandoah is an historic landmark building at 10 Sheridan Square, in the heart of Greenwich Village in New York City, The apartment's otherworldly decor was the perfect backdrop to Anna's meticulously created pieces. Notable guests from the worlds of art and fashion mingled and browsed each exquisitely curated installation, while sipping equally exquisite Brut Art Deco Premier Cru by Champagne Collet.
