Transforming Tired Eyes, Scents To Stand By, A Pleasing Pout
Television and film actress Melissa Roxburgh knows a thing or two about workhorse products that stand the test of time. The busy actress travels often, splitting her time between New York and Vancouver, filming NBC’s edge-of-your-seat series with a cult following, Manifest. Most recently she appeared in the film I Still Believe alongside Shania Twain and KJ Apa. Her long days as an actor on tv’s most popular show had us wondering what she applies to the lids of her piercing blue eyes and how she hydrates her flawless skin. With Manifest recently being renewed for a season 3—and debuting as the number one fall series of 2018—we just had to talk to Roxburgh about the products she treasures as much as fans treasure her beloved character, Michaela. Here’s the full scoop on what she's currently carrying.- Tamara Rappa

First and foremost, I'm prone to under eye dark circles, especially in New York with the long hours we have. I've tried so many products and concealers that don't blend properly, or sit funny, etc. The only one that I have found (other than my basic, day-to-day Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Liquid Concealer, is Cle de Peau Radiant Corrector for eyes. It's SO good! I always follow it with Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Powder. That way I don't have to completely reset! Another thing I love to keep on me is perfume. Living in New York, you rarely have the time or energy to go all the way home before something, which means you're usually out for the whole day. I have a weird need to always smell---at the very least---clean. My go to travel perfumes are Lise Watier Vent Du Sud Eau de Toilette Spray or Commodity Gold Perfume. Chapped lips drive me nuts! So I always keep some form of Burt's Bees on me. Personally, I like the rose tinted balm for a little color. My friend recently got me onto the RMS Eye Polishes as well. It's the only shadow I use in my personal routine now. Specifically, the color Lucky. Although I do chew gum, I usually prefer Listerine spray. Way more potent, and polite if you're talking to people. Another product I've become obsessed with lately is Sonya Dakar's Blue Butterfly Balm. It smells and feels so good on the skin and really hydrates, which is good for me as I'm prone to dry and dehydrated skin.
