We’re embracing that these days, there’s a holiday for everything, largely because there are holidays like National Watermelon Day.  This gets our juices flowing (pun intended). Without even realizing it, we began typing our searches into Google. “Watermelon t-shirt”, “watermelon beauty”—and soon enough we’re down the rabbit hole because we can’t wait to locate the sweetest finds. Here’s what also happened: at the end of the day we found ourselves meandering towards New York’s Soho Grand Hotel and to Gilligan’s, the festive restaurant and bar with vacation vibes, known for their famed Watermelon Margarita.
